The Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) is an international organisation specialising in entrepreneurship, engagement and innovation in higher education. Its work focuses on helping universities strengthen their social, economic and cultural impact and develop stronger connections with the ecosystems around them.
Through its European project activities, ACEEU works on topics including entrepreneurship, engagement, digitalisation, sustainability, artificial intelligence and quality assurance in higher education. Its EU Project Unit is involved in programmes such as Erasmus+, Horizon, EIT HEI and Digital Europe, using European cooperation both to apply existing expertise and to explore new approaches in education and innovation. Within BIAD, this expertise is particularly relevant to one of the project’s central ambitions: strengthening the links between education, innovation and the professional world. ACEEU contributes a higher education perspective to the consortium, with experience in institutional engagement, skills development, digital transformation and the design of educational approaches that connect academic environments with wider economic and societal needs.
ACEEU also brings experience from projects dealing with AI education and digital learning, including the development of AI literacy tools, online courses, train-the-trainer programmes and educational resources. ACEEU_Intro_BIAD_02_2026 This background provides the consortium with useful expertise as BIAD explores how emerging technologies and new skills can be integrated into education and training for the tourism and hospitality sector.
ACEEU’s contribution is represented by Dr. Lina Landinez, CEO of ACEEU, and Federica Casaccio, International Relationship Manager
Lina leads ACEEU’s organisational development and initiatives around entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education. Her professional background also includes innovation management experience in both the public and private sectors. Bio Project Lead
Federica manages ACEEU’s external partnerships and identifies new opportunities across its project and accreditation activities. She has contributed to Erasmus+ and Horizon projects addressing digitalisation, entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education, and also brings experience in sustainability, business development, SDGs and e-learning. Bio Project Lead
Together, they bring to BIAD ACEEU’s expertise in higher education innovation, international cooperation, institutional engagement and the development of new learning approaches.
